In the basement, the renovation introduces a new guest suite, a dedicated gym, and a flexible multipurpose room designed to accommodate recreation, work, or family activities. These new spaces expand the functional capacity of the home, allowing it to better support both daily routines and visiting guests. Careful planning ensures that the lower level feels integrated, comfortable, and purposeful rather than secondary to the main living areas above.

On the ground floor, a new mudroom and powder room are added to improve daily convenience and household organization. These practical insertions strengthen the flow of the home by creating a more efficient entry sequence and supporting the needs of an active family lifestyle.

The second floor presents the most challenging design task.
